west zone.
v. Living- there are many positive zone in vastu for the same. You can place the sofa unit in
the south and south of south east zone to relax with family.
vi. Dining- dining table can be placed in a number of zones. You can place the dining area in
east zone for better connectivity.
vii. Study table- it is good to have a study table to help the student pursue their studies
better. You need to place the same in the west of south west zone since it is the zone of
education in vastu. If it is blocked then you can also place it in north, north east or south
of south east zones.
viii. Washing machine- having a washing machine is very common even in a house with basic
amenities. You can keep it in any of the zone which are ideal for toilet placement.
ix. Water tank- if your south facing house vastu has underground water tank then it goes in
the north zone, which also represents the water element in vastu. But if it is the
overhead water tank then you need to place it in the south west or west of south west
zone, which represents the earth element in vastu.
x. Septic tank- the septic tank can be placed in any of the bathroom zones only. These
include the east of south east, south of south west and west of north west zones. If any
portion of the tank comes in another zone, then cover it up with suitable metal wire to
fix it.
